You can do it all. Plus, Creative Cloud members automatically get access to new products and exclusive updates as soon as they’re released. And, with cloud storage and the ability to sync to any device, your files are always right where you need them. Creative Cloud is available for individuals. Creative Cloud for teams is only available in South Africa and Mauritius.

During the last quarter of 2012, Adobe reported an addition of 10,000 Creative Cloud subscriptions per week. Within seven months of the launch of the service, more than one million professionals globally have adopted the Adobe Creative Cloud. But still people have questions and reservations about moving to the cloud.

The Mail &Guardian has found that more and more people are paying for digital content, with their iPad edition already accounting for 20% of their subscribers base and within less than a year they have made their App profitable and are seeing consistent growth every month.

I read some interesting articles this week (Random House-Penguin: publishers moot deal for digital clout) about large publishing companies merging.

It seems to me in a world dominated and controlled by technology that the people who create the actual real content are the ones clambouring to survive. Is this correct? In an ideal world, both content creators and technology companies which enable and distribute this content should work together harmoniously and peacefully? The frantic merging of large publishing companies globally, this doesn’t seem to be the case. The power scales have tipped in the favour (at least for the moment it seems that way) of technology giants such as Amazon, Apple and Google.

Tablets are just a fad and haven’t impacted our lives?

Really? Its truly amazing to see how tablets have changed almost every facet of our daily lives. We have adopted this “new” technology faster than any other technology. Here is a thought, tablets have really only been commercially available since 3rd April 2010 with the release of the first Apple iPad. So in 2 years and 4 months we have seen a technology revolution that has changed the world. Quite profound I know, but hear me out and then decide for yourself.
